This Chianti from Tenute Piccini is usually called "Orange", due to its bright orange color, not very common among Chianti bottles, and easily recognizable, with which it has identified over the years. Sangiovese 90%, is completed by small percentages of Canaiolo and Ciliegiolo grapes. Fermentation takes place in steel, at controlled temperature, with a long maceration on the skins. Ruby red in color, it has an intense olfactory impact, with hints of cherry and red berry fruit. At the sip the adequate freshness and good balance make it smooth and drinkable, together with soft tannins and a smooth and velvety consistency. Indicated in the company of the first courses of traditional Tuscan cuisine, it is suitable as a combination of pizza and roasts.
